Zalipsky Israel Moiseyevich (1927, Cēsis) — driver. G.'s mother, Zalipskaya Evgenia (1900), during the First World War of 1914 was evacuated from Latvia to Gomel. In 1923, the Z. family returned to Latvia, Cēsis, and in 1928 moved to Riga. In 1941, Z. completed 4 grades at the Riga primary school. In evacuation in Astrakhan and Chkalov, worked on the collective farm of the village of Burta, Chkalov Oblast, and at the cinema “Molot,” as well as master of a brush workshop. After returning to Riga, worked at the cooperative artel “Veka” as a trainee lathe operator. From 1959 to 1961, worked as a motorist-carburettor specialist at Riga ATC No. 13. From 1961 to 1964, Z. worked as a technical mechanic and driver at the Inland Waters Fish Combine. From 1964 to 1975, Z. worked as a driver at the Glavbaltrybvod enterprise. From 1975 — driver at store No. 151 of the Moscow Food Trade Organization.

In 1947, Z. accepted USSR citizenship.
