Rutstein (née Movshenson) Ganna Alfredovna (18 December 1938, Riga) — packer (pharmacy worker).
Ganna Rutstein was the daughter of Alfred-Charles Movshenson (1916, St. Petersburg — 1947, Riga) and Estere Medov (née Alterman, Movshenson; 1909, Viļāni).
During the German occupation, Ganna Rutshtein remained in Riga with her mother. Thanks to the mixed marriage of her parents, the family survived the Holocaust.
In 1957–1959 she worked as a packer at Pharmacy No. 1 of the Main Pharmaceutical Administration (GAPU) in Riga. In 1959–1960 she lived in Rostov-on-Don. In 1960–1961 she worked as a packer at the Liepāja pharmaceutical warehouse of GAPU. In 1967 she graduated from the Tallinn Pedagogical Institute, receiving the qualification of primary school teacher.
In 1967–1969 she worked as a primary school teacher at Tallinn Eight-Year School No. 51. In 1969–1973 she worked as a packer and cashier at Pharmacy No. 31 of GAPU in Riga, and from 1973 as a cashier at Pharmacy No. 42 in Riga.
She was married to Anatoly Rutstein (1931, Rostov-on-Don). Their daughter was Izabella Rutstein (1961, Riga).
In 1974 Ganna Rutstein applied for permission to visit the United States at the invitation of her mother. The request was rejected by OVIR of the Latvian SSR, because her mother had travelled to the United States on a visitor visa in the 1960s and did not return to the USSR.
