Mostova (née Pliner) Roza (Rosa) Abramovna (28 May 1935, Ludza, Latvia) — electrical engineer.

Roza Mostova was born into the family of workers Abram Leybovich Pliner (1907, Zilupe, Latvia) and Zaida Meerovna Pliner (née Fuks) (1907, the settlement of Shkyauna, Lyutsin Uyezd, Vitebsk Governorate). She was evacuated first to Kirov (1941–1942), and then to Alma-Ata in the Kazakh SSR, where she attended school (1942–1946).

After returning to Latvia, Roza Mostova graduated from Riga Railway School No. 1 (1952), and then from the Faculty of Mechanics of the Latvian State University (1952–1957). From 1957 to 1972 she worked as a senior engineer, group leader, and chief specialist at the design institute “Giproboum,” later renamed “Latgiproprom.”

In marriage to David Itskhokovich Mostov (1935, Riga), two children were born: a son, Isak Davidovich Mostov (1956, Riga), and a daughter, Larisa Davidovna Mostova (1965, Riga).

In 1972 Roza Mostova received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since the spring of that year her husband’s brothers and sisters had been living: since 1969 — his brother Movsha Itsikovich Mostov (1921, Riga) and sister Aleksandra Itsikovna Jakobson (née Mostova) (1924, Riga); since 1971 — sister Fruma-Sima Itsikovna Schneider (née Mostova) (1923, Riga), brother Elya Itsikovich Mostov (1927, Riga), sister Khana Isakovna Rostovskaya (née Mostova) (1917, Riga); and since the spring of 1972 — brother Avigder Itsikovich Mostov (1926, Riga).
