Pliner (née Fuks) Zaida Meyerovna (10 March 1907, Shkyaune settlement, Lucyn (Ludza) Uezd, Vitebsk Governorate) - factory worker.

Zaida Pliner was born into the family of Meyer-Yankel Shmuilovich Fuks (1851, Kraslava, Latvia – 1938, Shkyaune settlement, Kraslava District) and Khaia Israelevna Fuks (1858, Kraslava – 1941, Zilupe, Latvia).

She completed five grades of schooling. From 1921 to 1925 she worked in a grocery shop in Riga. After moving to Zilupe, she was employed as a shop assistant in a local store (1925–1931), and subsequently performed various kinds of work (1931–1941).

In 1941 she was evacuated first to Kirov, where she worked at a sawmill (1941–1942). She was then evacuated to the “Zavet Lenina” collective farm in Pavlodar Oblast, Kazakh SSR, where she worked as a laborer (1942–1944). After relocating with her family to Alma-Ata, Kazakh SSR, she worked as a sales clerk (1945–1946).

Upon returning to Latvia in 1946, she worked in Riga as a seamstress at the Pārdaugava Atelier (1948–1951), then as a sewer in the Sacensība Artel (1951–1954), and later at the Daugava Factory (1954–1962). From 1962 she was retired.

In her marriage to Abram Leibovich Pliner (born 1907, Zilupe), three children were born: Riva Abramovna Druyan (née Pliner) (1931, Rēzekne), Rosa Abramovna Mostova (née Pliner) (1935, Ludza, Latvia), Leiba Abramovich Pliner (1937, Zilupe).

In 1972 Zaida Pliner received permission to emigrate to Israel, where from the spring of that year her daughter Rosa Abramovna Mostova (née Pliner) (born 1935) was already living.
