Zilber (Silber) Leiba Faivishevich (b. 1 May 1948, Riga) — mechanic.

Leiba Zilber graduated from Riga Secondary School No. 22 in 1966. In August 1966, he began work at the Riga seaport as a deckhand trainee. From 1966 to 1977, he worked as a technician at the “Zapryba” administration; in 1967–1968, he served as a sailor for “Baltrybvoda.”

In January 1970, he completed training in refrigeration mechanics at the Riga School of Engine Operators and until 1971 worked in this field at the “Valga” depot in the Estonian SSR. From 1972, he was a fitter at the repair-mechanical division of “Torgtekhnika.”

In 1972, Leiba Zilber emigrated with his parents to Israel. In 1976, he worked as an administrator at the “Hilton” Hotel in Tel Aviv.
