Rosenman (Rosenmann) (née Pikhotnik; first marriage — Rud) Ester Leibovna (1 September 1925, Harbin, China) — office employee.

Ester Rosenman was born into the family of Leyba Tovyevich Pikhotnik (1890, Poland — 1961, Israel), a worker, and Pesya Ioselevna Volynskaya (née Lurie) (1897, Rositsa, Vitebsk Region, Belarus), a seamstress.

In 1936 she moved with her mother from China to Kharkiv. Since her father did not have Soviet citizenship, he remained in China and later emigrated to Israel in 1949. Ester completed eight grades of a school in Kharkiv in 1941. During the Second World War she was evacuated to Fergana (Uzbek SSR), where she worked as a secretary-typist in a local driving school (1941–1945).

After moving to Vinnytsia, she was supported by her first husband (1945–1951). After moving to Riga, she was supported by her second husband (1951–1960) and later worked as a cashier-receiver in a shoe repair workshop, which later became the factory “Rīgas Apavi” (1960–1971).

In marriage with Skhoriy Meyerovich Rud (1922, according to other sources 1905 — 1961, Vinnytsia, Ukraine) a son was born: Meyer Rud (Sakharyevich) (1946, Vinnytsia). The marriage was dissolved in 1958.

In marriage with Mendel Zalmanovich Rosenman (1915, Braslav, Vitebsk Region, Belarus) a daughter was born: Anna Rosenman (1955, Riga).

In 1970 Ester Rosenman applied for permission to emigrate to the United States, where her brother Yakov Leybovich Paton (1915, Poland) lived, but her request was denied.

In 1971 she received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since 1936 lived Abram Pukin (1904, Bildzhugi), the cousin of her second husband.
