Minina Fanya Davidovna (6 October 1931, Gomel, Belarus) — construction technician.

Fanya Minina was born to David Yuryevich Minin (1909, Krasnopolye, Mogilev Oblast, Belarus) and Zhenya Mendelevna Bobrushkina (1914, Gomel). During the Second World War, she was evacuated together with her family to the town of Chistopol in the Tatar ASSR (1941–1945). After the war, she returned first to Gomel and then moved to Riga in 1946.

She completed eight years of schooling in 1948 and subsequently graduated from the Riga Municipal Construction Technical School in 1951. From 1951 to 1980, she worked as an engineer at the Republican Design Institute “Latgiprogorstroy.”

She was married to Movsha Girshevich Strashun (1927, Dvinsk, today Daugavpils). The marriage was childless.

In 1980, Fanya Minina received permission to emigrate to Israel, where her husband’s sisters were already living: from 1971, Minna Girshevna Milman (née Strashun) (1923, Dvinsk), and from 1973, Freida Girshevna Milman (née Strashun) (1921, Dvinsk).
