Geydenreykh (Kogan) Maria Aronovna (10.05.1908, Nikolaev, Ukraine) — worker. Born into a working-class family of Kogan Aron Abramovich (1872, Nikolaev, Ukraine — 1921, Odessa) and Kogan Golda Moiseyevna (1884, Nikolaev — 1921, Odessa). Completed 3 grades at the Nikolaev public school; after moving to Odessa, until 1928 worked as a domestic servant. Was dependent on her husband (1928–1938); worked as a cigarette packer at the Odessa cigarette factory (1938–1941); was evacuated to Fergana, Uzbek SSR, where she worked at a bakery (1941–1945); returning to Odessa, was a worker at the artel “Chervony Prapor” (1945–1948); worked as a manicurist at the city office of the hairdressing trade (1948–1964); from 1964 — retired. In 1979, moved to Riga.

Her marriage to Geydenreykh Nikolai Emmanuilovich (1909, Valmiera, Latvia — 1943, Magadan Oblast) produced a son Geydenreykh Mark Nikolaevich (1929, Odessa).

Note: in 1938 in Baranovichi, Byelorussian SSR, career military officer Geydenreykh N.E. was convicted by a Special Council and sent to Magadan Oblast, where he died in 1943. In 1958, his case was reviewed by the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Military District; the resolution of the Special Council was overturned and the case was closed for lack of corpus delicti. He was rehabilitated posthumously.

In 1979, she received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since the 1920s her cousin Shoyhet Raya Semyonovna (birth date and place not in documents) and her husband Shoyhet Mikhail Izrailevich (1900, Nikolaev) had been living.
