Zalmanovich (Zalmanowitsch) Anatoly Samuilovich (5 August 1955, Riga) — student.
Anatoly Zalmanovich was born to tinsmith Samuil Davidovich Zalmanovich (1929, Riga) and seamstress Ete Abramovna Zalmanovich (née Kapulskaya) (1935, Riga). Completed eight grades at Secondary School No. 16 (1962–1971). He worked as an apprentice at the Riga Taxi Depot (1971–1972) while simultaneously attending Evening Secondary School No. 10 (1971–1973).
In 1973, Anatoly Zalmanovich received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since 1971 his aunt (his mother’s sister), Roza Abramovna Kaplan (née Kapulskaya) (1937, Riga), had been living.
