Zalkinder Edit (Eide) (February 23, 1909, Talsi – 1941, Riga) – educator.
In 1927, Edit Zalkinder graduated from the secondary school in Talsi, and in 1928, she enrolled in the history department of the Faculty of Philology and Philosophy at the University of Latvia. From January 1935, she taught history and Latin at the Jewish private secondary and primary school “Ezra” in Riga. In September 1940, she was appointed acting director of the 3rd Riga municipal Jewish secondary school.
