In 1971—74 (?) — milling machine operator at the Riga experimental plant of “Latvenergo.” From 1972 married to Yufa Evgeniya Mendelevna. Daughter: Yufa Elina Garyevna (b. 1973, Riga). Father: Yufa Bentsion Meerovich (1914, Kremenchug — ?, ?) — engineer. Mother: Rayz Liya Isay-Leybovna (1914, Kremenchug — ?, ?). Brother: Yufa Yury Bentsionovich (b. 1949, Kremenchug) — milling machine operator.
