Yankelevich (née Brilovich) Leyka Abramovna (8.8.1921, Jēkabpils) – seamstress. In 1941 Ya. was evacuated from Jēkabpils and until 1945 worked as a seamstress at the Military Trade workshop in Cheboksary, Chuvash ASSR. After returning to Riga in 1945, she worked as a seamstress: at the “Brīvība” artel (1946–1951), at the “Rīgas Drēbnieks” artel (1951–1952), at the “Sadarbī” artel (1952–1954), at the “Stakhanovietis” artel (1954–1961), at the individual tailoring factory (“Siluets” production association). From 1976 – old-age pensioner.
