Yakobson Mark Sholomovich (06.01.1946, Riga — ) — mechanical engineer. Born into the family of workers. In 1969 he completed the chemistry faculty of the Riga Polytechnic Institute, receiving a diploma of mechanical engineer for machines and apparatus of chemical production. From July to November 1969 he worked as an engineer at the Experimental Plant of the IOS Academy of Sciences of the LSSR, and then until December 1970 served in the Soviet Army. He has command of German and Latvian.
