Vogel (née Kremer) Sonya (Sonja) Mikhailovna (6 June 1911, Grīva, Daugavpils district) - seamstress.

Sonya Vogel was born into the family of Mikhail Vulfovich Kremer (1871, Grīva — 1934, Riga) and Sara Mordukhovna Kremer (née Dakhman) (1878, Grīva — 1955, Riga). In 1926 she completed seven classes of secondary school in Liepaja.

From 1926 to 1927 she worked as a sales assistant in a knitwear shop in Liepāja, and from 1928 to 1937 as a sales assistant in a knitwear shop in Riga. Between 1938 and 1941 she did not work and was supported by her first husband. During the Second World War she was evacuated to Khalturin in the Kirov region, where from 1941 to 1944 she worked as a cook in Military Hospital No. 3160.

After returning to Riga in 1944, she did not work for several years and was supported first by her brother and later by her second husband (1944–1958). She worked briefly as a seamstress in 1958–1959, again was a homemaker between 1959 and 1962, and from 1962 to 1966 worked as a seamstress at the factory “Sadarbība,” later renamed “Rīgas apģērbs.” From 1966 she was retired.

In her first marriage to Movsha Tobiasovich Vogel (1909, Jēkabpils — 1942, killed near Smolensk), she had a daughter, Frida Movshovna Zakman (née Vogel) (1938, Riga). In her second marriage to Khonon Girshovich Bukhbinder (1906, Kuldīga — 1979, Israel), she had a daughter, Vera Khononovna Shteingart (née Bukhbinder) (1949, Riga).

In 1969 Sonya Vogel received permission to emigrate to Israel, where a cousin of her second husband, Katriel Bukhbinder (1895, Kuldīga), was living.
