In 1942–1943, she was employed as a knitter in a disabled people’s artel in the city of Leninsk (Andijan Region).

Her marriage with the child’s father, Yakov Shigris (1922, Bucharest), was concluded in the Vilnius synagogue and was not officially registered.

In 1946, she worked as a shop assistant in the 2nd Riga Municipal Industrial Trade.
