Tsimmerman Ruvin Yankelevich (1923, Dvinsk, today – Daugavpils) – office worker. Born into the family of worker Tsimmerman Yankel (Yakov) Tsalevich (1896, Dvinsk – 1978, Daugavpils) and housewife Tsimmerman (née Drits) Doba Samuylovna (1899, Dvinsk – 1943, Kalash, Chuvashia). He completed two grades of the Dvinsk elementary school (1930—1932), but could not continue his studies owing to difficult financial circumstances. He worked as a hired laborer for employers (1937—1941), was evacuated to Kalash, Chuvash ASSR (1941), was conscripted into the Soviet Army and fought on the 1st Baltic Front (1942), was severely wounded and demobilized (1943). There are no records of places and times of employment in his documents. It is known that in 1971 he worked as a junior sales clerk at a shop of the Proletarsky food trade office.
In his marriage to Tsimmerman (née Epshteyn) Genya Khaimovna (1922, Rechytsa, Belorussia), sons Tsimmerman David Ruvinovich (1946, Krāslava, Latvia) and Tsimmerman Gersen Ruvinovich (1950, Krāslava) were born.
In 1971 he received permission to emigrate to Israel, where his sister Avneri (née Tsimmerman) Khana Yankelevna (1927, Dvinsk) was living — she had married a Polish citizen and during repatriation left for her husband's homeland and from there to Israel.
