Timenchik (Timentschik) Emilia Iosifovna (25 October 1919, Riga) — employee.

Emilia Timenchik was the daughter of Iosif Apt (1884, Polotsk — 1946, Prokopyevsk, Kemerovo Region) and Reise Apt (née Iokhel) (1885, Riga — 1963, Riga).

In 1938, she graduated from the Jewish secondary school “Ezra” in Riga. Until 1941, she was a homemaker. In June 1941, she was administratively deported to Tomsk Region as the daughter of an owner of a wine-trading business with an annual turnover of 942,000 lats. Her father was sentenced in 1942 to five years in corrective labor camps and died after being transferred to a special settlement; he was posthumously rehabilitated.

In 1941–1946, Emilia Timenchik worked as a laborer at the collective farm “Pobeda” in the settlement of Ust-Silga, Karagasok District, Tomsk Region. Until 1961, she lived in Prokopyevsk (Kemerovo Region). In 1961, she returned to Latvia and settled in Jūrmala.

In 1964–1982, she worked as the manager of a kiosk at a pharmacy on Bulduru Avenue in Jūrmala. From 1982, she was retired.

In marriage with Khaim Yankelovich Timenchik (1916, Riga), two children were born: Robert Khaimovich Timenchik (1940, Riga) and Evgenia Ozhekh (née Timenchik) (1947, Prokopyevsk, Kemerovo Region).

In 1982, Emilia Timenchik received permission to emigrate to Israel at the invitation of her son.
