Tepper Sofya (Sofia) Albertovna (Abbovna) (1935–1995) — physician, therapist.

Sofya Tepper graduated from the Vitebsk Medical Institute in 1961 and was assigned to work in Daugavpils. She worked as a district physician at the city polyclinic, later became head of the general medicine department of the polyclinic. From 1967 she was attending physician (ordinator), from 1972 — head of the men’s internal medicine department at the Central City Hospital of Daugavpils. In1986–1993 — head of the therapeutic department of the Central City Hospital and chief therapist of the city.From 1993 she worked at the Latgale branch of the State Compulsory Health Insurance Agency.

Sofya Tepper was a highly respected medical professional in Daugavpils’ healthcare system.
