Sosnovskaya Khava (Chawa) Bentsianovna (1 January 1920, Gomel Region) — nurse.

Khava Sosnovskaya was born into the family of Bentsian Sosnovsky (1888, Gomel Region — 1972, Gomel Region) and Riva Sosnovskaya (1898, Gomel Region — 1961, Riga). In 1938, she graduated from a feldsher-midwifery school in Leningrad.

From 1938 to 1939, she worked as a midwife at the Hospital of the 20th Anniversary of October in Leningrad; from 1939 to 1941 as a midwife at a Leningrad maternity hospital.

In 1941, she was mobilised into the Soviet Army. From 1941 to 1943, she served as a military feldsher at a field hospital on the Leningrad Front; from 1943 to 1946 as a senior nurse at Field Hospital No. 4710 of the 2nd Shock Army.

From 1946 to 1948, she worked as a dietary nurse at a rest home of the Soviet Military Administration in Erkner.

After demobilisation in 1948, she moved with her husband to Riga and remained a homemaker until 1966. From 1966 to 1975, she worked as a nurse and silk-screen technician at the Riga Psychiatric Hospital. From 1975, she was a pensioner due to old age.

She was awarded the medals “For Combat Merit,” “For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945,” “20 Years of Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945,” “For the Defence of Leningrad,” and “For Valiant Labour in Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of V. I. Lenin.”

She married Leonid Nusinsky (1915, Bila Tserkva). Their children are Mark Nusinsky (1949, Riga) and Ludmila Nusinskaya (1952, Riga).

In 1979, Hava Sosnovskaya received permission to emigrate to Israel.
