Skorokhod (Skorochod) Izya (Isja) Meerovich (15 December 1959, Riga) — physician.

Izya Skorokhod was born into the family of Zisla Polishchuk (née Sorokina; 1925, Varakļāni) and Meyer Skorokhod (1926, Višķi).

In 1982, he graduated from the Riga Medical Institute. From 1982 to 1990, he worked as a doctor at the ambulance station of Riga City Hospital No. 1.

In his marriage to Maya Skorokhod (née Varshavskaya; 1963, Riga), a son was born: Ilya Skorokhod (1982, Riga). In 1990, he received permission to emigrate to Israel at the invitation of his maternal uncle, Borukh Sorokin (1924, Varakļāni).
