Shneer Bela Yakovlevna (10.04.1949, Ventspils) — analytical chemist. In 1964—1966 — artistic worker at the “8 Marta” textile factory; in 1966—1968 — assembler at the VEF plant. In 1968—1972 she was a laboratory assistant at the chemistry faculty of the Riga Polytechnic Institute. In 1969 she enrolled at the chemistry faculty of the Latvian State University, which she successfully completed in 1975. She subsequently worked as an engineer and chemical engineer at various construction and scientific-technical organizations, including, from 1989, at the experimental plant of the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis.
