Shlezinger (née Davidson) Khaya Mendelevna (10.12.1892, Riga) – worker.
She was born into the family of Davidson Mendel Borukhovich (1866, according to other sources 1868, Vitebsk, Belarus – killed by the Nazis in the Riga ghetto in 1941) and Davidson Rakhil Moiseyevna, according to other sources Rokhe-Leya Movshevna (1868, according to other sources 1870, Vilnius – 1933, Riga).
She graduated from a Riga gymnasium (1911), then took bookkeeping courses, and worked as a bookkeeper at a private textile enterprise until her marriage in 1920.
Until 1941 she was a housewife (helping her husband in the shoe store he opened in 1929).
In 1941 she and her children were deported to special settlement in the Irbeysky District of Krasnoyarsk Krai, where she worked at a meat and dairy farm No. 2 of the local collective farm (1941-1942), and in 1942 the family was resettled to the Far North, to the village of Dorofeyevka, where Khaya Mendelevna was a dependent of her daughters, who worked as fisherwomen at the Ashmarinsky fish cannery (1942-1943). They were resettled again, to the settlement of Kheta in the Taymyr National District, where she worked at the local fish cannery (sewing protective clothing for fishermen), then as a salesperson at the village consumer cooperative store (1943-1946). In 1946 the family was resettled to Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, where she was a dependent of her children (1946-1956). In 1956 she was removed from the special settlement register and returned to Riga, where she lived as a dependent of her younger daughter.

In her marriage to Shlezinger Abram Zelikovich (1890, Karsava, Latvia – died in detention in 1942, Solikamsk), daughters Beylina (née Shlezinger) Raisa Abramovna (b. 1921, Riga), Berman (née Shlezinger) Mia Abramovna (b. 1923, Riga), and son Shlezinger Gershon Abramovich (b. 1924, Vilnius) were born.

In 1971 she received permission to emigrate to Israel, where her son Shlezinger Gershon Abramovich (b. 1924, Vilnius) had been living since 1938.

Note: in 1927 the parents sent Gershon, who suffered from asthma, to his uncle Shlezinger Iosif in what was then Czechoslovakia. In 1938 the uncle and nephew left for Palestine. For a long time Khaya Mendelevna knew nothing of her son's fate and believed him dead. Only in 1954 was she informed that Gershon was alive and living in Israel.
