Latvia and Rabbis

1)
According to Latvia: Batei Knesset VeRabbanim, p. 241, his son R. Shmuel Dov was also rabbi here from 8 November 1936. There, p. 242, it is written that R. Eliezer Ze'ev was rabbi here from 1935 — 5695. However, in the collection Sha'arei Tzion, Nisan–Sivan 5692, it already states he was accepted as rabbi here, and in the newspaper Unzer Shtime, issue no. 3, 17 Menachem Av 5691, under the heading “The Rabbinate Question in Rybnishtki,” it is written that two years earlier the community had already given him a letter of rabbinate, but for various reasons he was not able to accept the position until now.
