Sabile / Shavlan

He served as rabbi here from approximately 5600 (1840). He was accepted as a member of the Chevra Kadisha here on 13 Nisan 5601.

He served in the rabbinate here until 5607 (1847), when he moved to serve as rabbi in Windau (see there). He also served as rabbi of Mitau.

He passed away on 16 Sivan 5624 (20 June 1864).
