R. Kalman Lipman (Lipa) son of R. Yaakov Rotzkin (Rotchko)
Daugavpils / Dvinsk / Dinabug / Denenborg / Denabarg / Dayyanim, Rabbinic Decisors, and Synagogue Rabbis
Born in 5638 (1878). He studied at the yeshivas of Slobodka and Slutsk. He was ordained for halakhic rulings by the Gaon of Rogatchov, the Rebbe R. Shmarya Noach Schneerson of Bobruysk, and the Gaon Ridvaz.
In 5665 he was appointed rabbi and rabbinic decisor in Magash Chadash.
He also served as rabbi of the Kadish's Minyan, which was a Chabad minyan1).
He passed away in 5698 (1938).

Latvia: Batei Knesset VeRabbanim, p. 239 (where it states he was born in 5637 and served here in the rabbinate for 38 years, but according to what is cited above from Ohalei Shem — that he was accepted as rabbi here in 5665 — it emerges that he served in the rabbinate for approximately 33 years).
