Among his productions in Daugavpils were Lyubov Yarovaya by Konstantin Trenev, The Storm by Alexander Ostrovsky, Intervention by Lev Slavin, and Intrigue and Love by Friedrich Schiller, among others. At the Operetta Theatre he staged Trembita by Yuri Milyutin, The Land of Blue Lakes by Arvīds Žilinskis, Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss, and others.
He was awarded the title Honoured Artist of the Latvian SSR in 1950.
