Rauchvarger (Rauchwarger) Isaak (11 March 1893, Tver Province — ?) — educator, school headmaster.

Isaak Rauchvarger graduated from the Novotorzhsk Real School. In 1917 he completed the medical faculty of the St Petersburg Psychoneurological Institute (as the relevant documents were missing from his file, a notarised statement by two witnesses was provided), whose rector was Professor V. Bekhterev.

While still a student, from 1 January 1912 to 15 February 1917, he taught at the evening school for adults of the Imperial Technical Society. From August 1917 to 31 December 1919, he served as a teacher of mathematics and natural sciences at the adult gymnasium of the Simferopol Society of the People’s University and at other educational institutions.

From 1919 to 1921 he was registered as a military doctor. From 1 August 1922 to 1928 he worked as a teacher, deputy headmaster, and headmaster of the school of the Jewish Society for the Promotion of Art and Knowledge. On 1 August 1928 he opened a Jewish private primary and secondary school, which operated until 1941.

His wife, Olga Rauchvarger (née Saltups), worked as a teacher at the 4th Riga Municipal Jewish Primary School.

Their sons were Yuri Rauchvarger (b. 1922) and Evgeny Rauchvarger (b. 1923).
