R. Avraham Yissachar son of R. Arye Leib Ratzker

Born approximately in 55721), to his father who served as rabbi in Sassmacken, rosh yeshiva in Dvinsk, rabbi in Radin, and rosh yeshiva in Vilna.
He served as dayan and rabbinic decisor for several years under R.Y.L. Batlan, and afterward was accepted as rosh yeshiva of the great Beit Midrash here in Dvinsk.
He passed away on 24 Sivan 5650 (12 June 1890), and his resting place is in Sventsyan.
