Daugavpils / Dvinsk / Dinabug / Denenborg / Denabarg / Government-Appointed Rabbis

Born on 7 Sivan 5623 (25 May 1863) in Vitebsk.

He was appointed as official government rabbi in Dvinsk from 24 Nisan 5658 (16 April 1898).1)

An approbation from him was printed in Shem HaGedolim HaShlishi.

In the archive records from 1939 he still appears as official rabbi here, and also as official rabbi in the nearby Griva.

He perished in the Holocaust in Riga in 1941.
