Višķi

Born here in 5636 (1876), to his father, the rabbi of the city mentioned above.

Son-in-law of R. Natan Tzvi Finkel, founder and spiritual director of the Knesset Yisrael yeshiva in Slobodka.

He served as rabbi here from 5664 (1904) for approximately twenty-five years.

From 5690 (1930) he served as rabbi in the area of Plan Chadash in Dvinsk (see there), where he perished in the Holocaust.
