Latvia and Rabbis

1)
In the newspaper Unzer Shtime, issue no. 27 from the month of Shevat 5692, a report appears that this week at the meeting of the committee for spiritual affairs at the Ministry of the Interior, Rabbi Platzinsky was appointed as rabbi of Antonopol. But in Pinkas HaKehillot it is written that he was appointed in 1929, and in Latvia: Batei Knesset VeRabbanim – in the year 1931.
2)
There on p. 72 it is written that the prayers in the town were conducted according to a compromise formula devised by the Gaon of Rogatchov between Hasidim and Mitnagdim, and all prayed together in one synagogue.
