Mostova (née Gordon) Rokha (Rocha) Shlyomovna (1 February 1925, Dvinsk; today Daugavpils) — employee.

Rokha Mostova was born into the family of a merchant, Shlyoma (Solomon) Israelevich Gordon (1893, Dvinsk — died in imprisonment in 1942, Vyatlag labor camp), and a homemaker, Elizaveta Vulfovna Gordon (née Dimant) (1898, Dvinsk). She studied at a school in Dvinsk (1933–1941). Together with her mother and sisters, she was deported (also described in documents as “administratively resettled”) to the Dzerzhinsky District of Krasnoyarsk Krai, where she worked on a local collective farm (1941–1942). In 1942 she was resettled again, to the village of Sergeevo in the Yartsevo District of the same region, where she worked on a collective farm (1942–1947).

After returning to Riga, she worked as a cashier at the Workers’ Supply Department (ORS) of Riga Bread Combine No. 1 (1947–1951). In 1951, together with her one-year-old daughter, she was again “administratively resettled” to Krasnoyarsk Krai (the town of Kansk), where she was supported by her husband, who moved there to join the family (1951–1953). She worked as a cashier-accountant at the Kansk Timber Industry Enterprise (1953–1956).

After returning to Riga, she was a homemaker (1956–1961), then worked at Canteen No. 6 of the Public Catering Trust of Riga’s Lenin District (1961–1969).

In marriage to Movsha Itsikovich Mostov (1921, Riga), two daughters were born: Shulamite Movshovna Mostova (1950, Riga) and Evgeniya Movshovna Mostova (1957, Riga).

In 1969 Rokha Mostova received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since 1936 her aunt (her mother’s cousin), Sarra Koen, had been living; she had left for what was then Palestine in search of work.
