R. Binyamin son of R. Shlomo Zalman Markuze

Born in Goldingen, where his father served as shamash and dayan.
He served as rabbi here from 5627 (1867).1) When he fell ill he traveled to Leipzig for medical treatment, and passed away there on 9 Menachem Av 5637 (19 July 1877).
He is mentioned in the prenumeranten at the beginning of the book Ne'um David (Vilna 5636).
