Makhaboisky Elya Yakovlevich (born 1929, Bobruisk, Mogilev Region — fate unknown).

From 1945 to 1947 Elya Makhaboisky studied at the Minsk Construction Technical School, specializing as a construction technician. From 1947 to 1949 he worked as a financial inspector in the construction administration of the city of Bobruisk. From 1949 to 1952 he served in the Soviet Army in the 55th Separate Construction Battalion in Riga. After completing his compulsory service, he remained working in the same battalion.

From 1958 to 1959 he worked at the Riga Champagne Wine Factory. Beginning in 1960, he was employed at the Riga Electromechanical Plant in the repair and installation department, later transferring to positions as a site foreman at the Riga Automobile Repair Plant and subsequently at the Riga Jewelry Factory.
