Magidenko Natan (Nathan) Iosifovich (26 April 1930, Zvenyhorodka, Cherkasy Region, Ukraine) — hairdresser.
Natan Magidenko was born into the family of Iosif Natanovich Magidenko (born 1898, Zvenyhorodka — murdered by the Nazis in 1941 in Kyiv) and Khana Davydovna Magidenko (née Marmer) (born 1896, Zvenyhorodka — died 1975, Riga). Until 1941 he attended a local school. Together with his mother he was evacuated to the Leninsk-Kuznetsky District of Kemerovo Region, where he studied and worked on the Chkalov Collective Farm from 1941 to 1946.
After returning to Riga, he worked as an apprentice hairdresser and then as a hairdresser at the Voentorg service complex (1947–1950). From 1950 to 1953 he served in the Soviet Army in Grodno, Belarus. After demobilisation he returned to Riga, where from 1953 to 1983 he worked as a hairdresser in the Hairdressing Services Office, later reorganised as the production association Laimdota.
In his marriage to Tsilya Aronovna Magidenko (née Beras) (born 1931, Riga), two sons were born: Iosif Natanovich Magidenko (born 1955, Riga) and Ilya Natanovich Magidenko (born 1965, Riga).
In 1983 Natan Magidenko received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since 1974 his wife’s brother, Abram Meyerovich Butin (born 1920, Dvinsk, now Daugavpils), had been living.
