Latvia and Rabbis

1)
According to one source, he was murdered on Shabbat Kodesh, 3 Tammuz 5701 (28 June 1941), at the time of the German army's invasion of the city, by Lithuanian nationalists, may their name be blotted out.
2)
In the journal HaMa'ayan, Tishrei 5748, p. 41, note 3, it is written about him that he was rabbi in the city of Dublin, Ireland. This is obviously an error.
