Khaim Leinzon was the son of Gedaliy Leinzon (1862, Odessa Oblast – 1930, Odessa Oblast) and Rakhil Leinzon (1871, Odessa Oblast – 1941, Rostov).
From 1900 to 1905 he worked as a sewing-machine salesman in his home town. In 1906–26 he procured down and feathers for private enterprises in Tarutino. In 1927–40 he was a procurer of raw animal materials. In 1940 he worked as a procurer for the “Zagotzhivsyryo” office.
In 1941 Leinzon was evacuated to the Uzbek SSR and worked at a sugar-beet collection point in the station of Serovo. In 1945–52 he procured salvage materials in Odessa Oblast.
In 1953 he moved to Riga and was supported by his son.
