Landau.’ In December 1923, he received permission from the Jewish Department of the Ministry of Education to teach chemistry, mathematics, and technological subjects in secondary school. The school was closed in August 1932. For a number of years, Yakov Landau held the position of head of the Jewish Education Department of the Ministry of Education. He perished in the Riga Ghetto.
