Kliot (Braudo) Khaya (Chaya) Leibovna (b. 1906, Riga) — homemaker.

In 1920, Khaya Kliot completed six grades at a Russian-language school in Riga.

From 1923 to 1925, she worked as a sales clerk at the Rode haberdashery store in Riga, and from 1925 to 1933, as a sales clerk at Mitnitsky’s haberdashery store. Later, she was a collector–agent for the Anglo-Latvian textile warehouse owned by Berzin in Riga.

In 1929, she married Isaak Kliot (b. 1907, Disna, Polotsk region); the marriage produced sons Mendel (b. 1929) and Hertz (b. 1932).

After the marriage, she acquired Polish citizenship. In 1936, the marriage was dissolved, and she continued to live in Riga. In 1940, she remarried her first husband, and they had two more sons: Semyon (b. 1940) and Genoch (b. 1945).

During World War II, Kliot worked as a kindergarten teacher at the Karl Liebknecht nursery in the Stalingrad region. After being re-evacuated to Riga, she did not return to employment and remained a homemaker.

In 1958, Khaya Kliot emigrated from Latvia.

Her parents perished in the Riga Ghetto during the war.
