Klemptner (Kriger) Irina (1954, Kansk) — engineer. Daughter of Kriger Rudolf (1913, Riga) and Vashkevich Anna (1925, Krasnoyarsk Territory — 1980, Riga). In 1971–72 she was a student at the Riga Medical Institute. In 1972–73 she was a junior sales assistant at the “Kosmos” bookshop. In 1973–74 she was a kiosk worker at the “Domas” bookshop. In 1974–75 she was a receptionist at Riga Polyclinic No. 4. From 1975 to 1979 she worked as an economist, senior economist, and group head at the Computing Centre of the Ministry of Municipal Services. In 1979, Klemptner received permission to emigrate to Israel.
