Jelgava / Mitau / Mitava / Litave

He served as rabbi in the city of Vabolninkas (Vabolnik) near Ponevezh and in the community of Žagarė.

Around 5570 (1810) he was accepted here as rabbi.

He passed away here in 5583 (1823).

A responsum to him appears in the responsa Gedulat Mordechai, section 17.
