Born in approximately 5589 (1829) in the city of Uzda in White Russia, and served as rabbi here for 13 years.1)
Afterward he served as rabbi in the city of Minsk, in the suburb of Prespa, for 17 years, and in 5650 he ascended to the Land of Israel.
He passed away at age 69 on 17 Tevet 5658 (11 January 1898).
