Hirshovich (Hirschowitch, Girshovich) (née Shmulovich) Alla Alexandrovna (b. 6 January 1939, Leningrad) – design engineer.

During the first year of the Second World War, Alla remained in Leningrad. Later, she was evacuated with her family to Novosibirsk Oblast. Her father, Aleksandr Shmulovich (1911–1942), a lecturer at the Budyonny Military Academy, was killed in action in 1942.

In the summer of 1945, her family returned to Leningrad. In 1956, Alla enrolled at the Leningrad Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics, specialising in precision mechanics. She graduated in 1962 with a degree in mechanical engineering. That same year, she married Aleksandr Hirshovich (b. 1937), whom she had met on the first day of classes in 1956. She moved to Riga to live with her husband.

From 1962 to 1967, she worked as a design engineer at classified enterprises. Between 1967 and 1975, she was a first-category design engineer at the Riga Experimental Plant for Hydrometeorological Instruments. In 1975, Alla Hirshovich emigrated with her husband and son, Mark Hirshovich (b. 1963), to Tel Aviv, Israel, for permanent residence.
