Latvia and Rabbis

2)
In several places it is written that he was accepted as rabbi after the passing of R.Y.L. Batlan, but this is not precise, since he was accepted as rabbi only seven years after the passing of R.Y.L. — as R. Yehoshua Mundshein proved in the introduction to the responsa Zekher Yehuda, there, note 26.
