Grinman (Grinmann) (née Deich) Pesya (Pesa) Sapovna (5 May 1918, Dubinovo village, Plusky District, Braslav Region, Poland) — seamstress.

Pesya Grinman completed five years of primary school in Poland. In 1932, her parents relocated to Riga, where she began working as a seamstress in the private workshop of Zilber, remaining there until 1940.

From 1940 to 1941, she worked as a seamstress in the Riga sewing artel. In 1941, she was evacuated to Samarkand Oblast in the Uzbek SSR, and from 1942 to 1947 she lived in the Altai region. In 1947, she returned to Riga.

From 1951 to 1953, she was employed as a seamstress in the “Adu Galanteriya” artel. In 1960–1961, she worked at the “Spartak” factory, and from 1962 onwards, she worked as a dressmaker at the “Siluets” production association.

In her marriage to Leib Grinman (b. 1916, Riga), she had two sons: Sholom Grinman (b. 1945, Rubtsovsk) and Ber Grinman (b. 1948, Riga).

Her parents, Sapa Deich (1890, Braslav Region – 1941, Riga) and Basya Deich (née Skopets) (1894, Braslav Region – 1942, Riga), her brother Shmul-Kalman Deich (1917, Braslav Region – 1943, Riga), and her sisters Riva Deich (1920 – 1944), Braine Deich (1922 – 1945), and Khana Deich (1924 – 1946) all perished in Riga during the Holocaust.

Pesya Grinman was a Polish citizen until 1940. In 1956, she submitted her first application to emigrate from Latvia under the repatriation programme, which was denied. In 1971, she and her husband received permission to emigrate to Israel to join her brother Daniil Deich (b. 1914, Dubinovo), who had emigrated to Palestine in the 1930s in search of work.
