Freidina Liliya (Lilia) Lazarovna (1925, Pastavy) - pharmacist’s assistant.
From 1945 to 1947 Liliya Freidina studied at a correspondence pharmaceutical school in Kyiv, where she qualified as an assistant pharmacist. During the Second World War, from November 1942 to August 1944, she participated in the partisan movement in Belarus as a rank-and-file member of the Zheleznyak Brigade in the Gomel region. In 1944, after the partisan units joined the Red Army, the detachments were disbanded.
She then moved to Pereiaslav, where she began working as a trainee in a pharmacy. In 1947 she relocated to Riga, following her husband’s place of service, and worked as an assistant pharmacist in Pharmacy No. 20.
