Falkov Lev Shmerlevich (25 May 1919, Rēzekne — ?, ?) — worker, maintenance employee.

After graduating from the Jewish secondary school in Rēzekne, from 1938 to 1941 Lev Falkov worked as an unskilled laborer at an oil depot owned by the “Michelson Brothers,” later “Glavneftesbyt” (Rēzekne).

From 1941, he was in evacuation in the Ivanovo region. In 1941, while attempting to cross the Afghan border in order to join the Jewish Brigade within the British Army, he was arrested and sentenced by the Moscow Special Council to 10 years in corrective labor camps.

After serving his sentence, he was exiled to the Krasnoyarsk region until further orders, where from 1951 to 1956 he worked as a laborer and machine operator at the sleeper (railway tie) factory of the Kazachinsk forestry enterprise (settlement Momotovo).

From 1956 to 1958, he worked as a loader at the warehouse of Canteen No. 75 (public catering, Riga). From 1958 to 1965 (?) he worked as a storekeeper at Canteen No. 16 of the Proletarian District (Riga). In 1959, his conviction was annulled by the Supreme Court of the Latvian SSR.

Since 1957, he was married to Minukha Falkova (née Falkova). He adopted her daughter, Dolores Lvovna Falkova.

His father, Shmerl Moiseevich Falkov (1879, Ludza — 1941, Rēzekne), was shot by the Nazi in August at the Ančupāni Hills. His mother, Fruma Ruvimovna Falkova (1883, Rēzekne — 1941, Rēzekne), was also shot there in August.

His brother, Ruvim Shmerlevich Falkov (1913, Rēzekne — 1941 (?), Viļaka), was shot by the Nazi in the market square together with other Jews.

His cousin, Israel Lvovich Bobrov (?, ? — ?, ?), emigrated to Israel in 1932 (?) under a certificate.

Lev Falkov emigrated to Israel in 1967.
