Elelman Leonid Borukhovich (27.12.1950, Riga) — sheet-metal worker. Son of Elelman Abram-Borukh (1923, Riga — 1978, Riga) and Elelman (Rozenberg, Vesterman) Riva (1926, Liepāja). In 1967, graduated from Riga Secondary School No. 22. In 1968–69, worked as a fitter at the “Gidrometpribor” plant in Riga. Performed his mandatory military service in military unit 31794 in the Liepāja District. In 1971–78, worked as a sheet-metal worker at the all-union association “Soyuzorglestekhmontazh” (1971–72), the “Latkoopstroymontazh” trust (1972), the “Avtoremontstroymontazh” trust (1972), the Latvskhoztekhnika enterprise (1972–74), the Repair and Construction Management of the Leningrad District of Riga (1974–75), the Specialised Repair and Construction Management (1975–76), the Repair and Construction Section in Jūrmala (1976), the Riga RSU of Minavtoshosdor (1977), and the “Podnieki” subsidiary farm of the “Adaži” collective farm.

His marriage to Elelman (Rozenberg) Masha (1951, Riga) produced a daughter Elelman Beatrisa (1972, Riga). In 1978, E. received permission to leave Latvia.
