Druyan (Drujan) Vulf (Wulf) Yakovlevich (10 February 1905, Varaklyany – date of death unknown) — worker and cobbler.
Born in the family of Druyan Yakov Yudelevich (1852, Varaklyany – 1917, Varaklyany) and Druyan Rocha Davidovna (1864, Rezekne – 1918, Varaklyany), Vulf Druyan received no formal education. From 1917 he began working as a shoemaker. In 1922 he moved to Riga, later residing in Rezekne (1930) and Varaklyany (1935). After re‑evacuation in 1946, he settled in Riga. Until 1940 he worked for private clients; during the wartime evacuation in Omsk he served as a shoemaker in an aircraft factory workshop. From 1946 to 1948 he worked at the Rybkoop coop, then in the “Stalinskaya Pyatiletka” artel (1948–1954), and from 1954 to 1965 at the “Rigas Apavnieks” shoe factory.
He married Sara‑Rebeka Mordukhovna Druyan (nee Marón) (b. 1899, Rezekne), and they had three children:
Mordukh Vulfovich Druyan (b. 1930, Rezekne), Gershon Vulfovich Druyan (b. 1935, Varaklyany) and their daughter Rokha‑Lea Vulfovna Kugel (Druyan) (b. 1932, Rezekne).
In 1971 Vulf Druyan received permission to emigrate to Israel, where his brother Druyan Gustav Yakovlevich (b. 1912, Varaklyany) was already residing.
