Dimant Aron-Israel (Israel) Yerokhimovich (born 16 July 1928, Riga) — chauffeur.

Aron-Israel Dimant began his education in 1936 at Riga’s 2nd Jewish primary school, where his brother Dimant, Rakhmiel Yerokhimovich (b. 1927) and sister Green (née Dimant) Sheyna (b. 1924) were also enrolled. He completed seven years of secondary schooling and trained at Technical College No. 2 in Chelyabinsk, later qualifying as an automotive mechanic at Riga Driving School No. 1. From 1945, he worked as a driver for the Ministry of Internal Affairs garage, the Industrial Co‑operatives Administration, Riga Bus Depot, and at the “Kometa” match factory.

In 1941, the Dimant family were evacuated: his parents—Dimant (née Katz), Khaya Solomonovna (1901–1981) and Dimant, Yerokhim Khaymovich (1901–1963)—and their children became separated during the evacuation. The father and brother reached Chelyabinsk, while Aron-Israel Dimant, with his mother and sister, was evacuated to the Yaroslavl region. By late 1942, the family reunited in the Chelyabinsk region. In 1942, his father was conscripted into the Soviet Army, and his mother resettled in Chelyabinsk, where Aron resumed his secondary schooling. In 1945, the family returned to Riga. Aron-Israel Dimant joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in 1957.

His brother, Rakhmiel, emigrated to Israel with his family in 1974. Aron‑Israel Dimant moved to Poland with his family in 1960 and settled in Israel in 1961.
